Michigan State Strength and Conditioning

Since this blog is brand new there are a bunch of articles and videos I’ve founded in the past couple months I’m going to share that are a little old.  This is a video from Athletic Strength and Power from February on the Michigan State Spartans strength and conditioning done in the offseason with their football team.  It’s an awesome video and head strength coach Ken Mannie shows why he’s been able to be successful at Michigan State for the last 16 years.

This video gives us a great inside look at how Ken Mannie runs his program and give us a peak into his coaching philosophies. After looking around a little bit more I found another video on the Michigan State Athletics website you can watch here that just shows you a little more of what the Spartans do in the offseason.  This one talks about the Big Ten Co-Champs Fourth Quarter Program and gives us a look at some of the conditioning they do and coach Mark Dantonio talks about leadership and the start of the 2011 football season.
